ISLAMABAD: The Subh-e-Nau National Clay Court Tennis Championship will be played at Pakistan Tennis Federation Complex tennis courts here from April 7. This was announced by Shahida Kausar Farooq, Chairperson Subh-e-Nau in a statement on Monday.

She said that National Clay Court Tennis Championship is a flagship event which SN hosts every year. Top players will be seen in action in six different categories which include Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Ladies Singles, Boys Juniors U-18 and Boys U-14. Besides the prize money for the winners, all outstation players will also be paid daily allowances until their elimination.

Mahvish Chishtie, a former national champion, will be the tournament director. Interested players can contact Shehzad Akhter Alvi, tournament referee, at 0333-5158971 for entries and further details. They can also send their entries to SN office at 051-4432194 and 0321-7059269. Last date of entries is April 5, 2017 (Wednesday). The finals of the tournament will be played on Wednesday, April 12.
