Iris folding notebook
This is with reference to the Wonder crafts “Iris folding notebook covers” by Asif Ali (YW, March 18). The first thing on any Saturday is to grab my copy of YW and immediately go through it.
So when I opened the this Saturday, the first thing that hit me was the colours in the Wonder crafts. I was delighted to see the fabulous iris folding notebook cover and I have already made two for myself.
I appreciate the efforts of the writer and all the wonderful crafts he brings for us to learn and make. I request the writer to make/create more interesting crafts like this one.

I love making crafts. The “Iris folding notebook cover” by Asif Ali was really wonderful. I have tried it myself and it looks so nice.
I thank the writer and the YW team for publishing such a wonderful column to help us make new things and feel proud of ourselves.

The worth of a book
This is with reference to the story “The worth of a book” by Altaf Noor Ali (YW, March 4). The story nicely depicted how we forget to read books or leave it in the middle and the reasons can be various. The story is a reminder to us to read books as much as possible as book reading has no match with any other creative activity.

Astronomy
This is with reference to the articles appearing in Astronomy section by Arif Ali Abbasi.
The articles are boring as they contain most of the information that we are already reading in our textbooks and other books. I have grown up reading this astronomy stuff and find it boring.
I request the YW team to start something new, such as technology, horror fiction or fantasy, something that makes our day!

Plagiarism
This is regarding the poem “Fred” by Rumi Amlani appeared in Poet’s corner (YW, March 25). The poem has been copied from Diary of a Wimpy Kid Double Down by Jeff Kinney, and can be found on page 27 of this book.
This is an act of plagiarism and dishonesty. I request all parents to inculcate good habits in children and tell them to write something themselves and not to take pride in passing someone else’s work as their own.
