LARKANA, Jan 2: The District Bar Association (DBA), Larkana, has criticized the government’s decision of elevating junior judges to the seat of apex court.
The managing committee of DBA, which met with its president Muhammed Ayaz Soomro in the chair, demanded withdrawal of the decision “in the interest of justice.”
The DBA described the decision as against the constitution and said the government had trampled upon the unanimous verdict of the Supreme Court in Aljihad Trust case.
