KARACHI: Muzammil and Mohammad Tariq helped Bounce Club end the winning sequence of Arambagh Club inflicting 48-28 points defeat in the Inter-club basketball tournament that resumed after a days’ break at the latetr’s court on Wednesday evening.

This was Bounce Club’s third victory including a walkover and they are yet to play two more games of the league. On the other hand, Arambagh Club have won three and lost one game so far.

Both the teams were tied 18-all at half time. However, on resumption, Bounce Club mustered 30 points – 15 each in the third and fourth quarters – to post commendable victory.

Muzammil garnered 13 points while Tariq was equally good with 12. Shahmeer added eight points to the winning tally.

None of the Arambagh Club player could finish in double figures. Ishaq scored seven while Fazil and Asad Iman equally shared 10 points among themselves.

In another match, Askari Alphas Club sent Haleem Hot Boys Club packing by 42-34 points to earn full points.

Bakhtiar was the most outstanding players for the winners scoring 18 Zain and Nayab scored 12 and 10 points respectively for the losers.
