While addressing a rally at Islamabad's Parade Ground, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday said he will reveal the identity of the individual who offered him Rs10 billion in court.
"Take me to court and I will reveal the identity of the individual," said the PTI chairman, adding that the 'messenger' who brought the offer was also offered Rs2bn for convincing him.
"If I name the person, they will conspire against him," said Imran.
Imran also announced, during PTI's first public gathering following the apex court's verdict on Panamagate, a social boycott of Nawaz Sharif and urged all his followers to do the same.
"Wherever you are, stand up against corruption and raise the slogan of 'go Nawaz go'," said Imran to a cheering crowd.
"I assure you that we have reached a point when we will hold a sitting PM accountable for his corruption."
Referring to the recent Panamagate verdict, Imran said two judges said the prime minister was neither 'Sadiq' nor 'Ameen' and the other three said further investigation needs to be conducted.
"The Supreme Court also disregarded the letter by the Qatari prince and that was their answer to every question," Khan said, adding that ministers who loot public money were distributing sweets while declaring victory.
Touching on the controversial meeting between the premier and Indian business tycoon Sajjan Jindal, Imran said the "prime minister does not have courage to look Modi in the eye and confront him over India's hand in spreading terrorism in Pakistan".
"Jindal said Nawaz Sharif wants to befriend India but the Army does not let him," said Imran.
Imran added that he would raise his voice for the rights of Kashmiris wherever he could, while paying tribute to their struggle in India-held Kashmir.
"India's Modi is campaigning against Pakistan on every front."
Earlier, Khan had announced his party's intention to hold a rally in Islamabad to "demand Nawaz Sharif's resignation".
Khan's announcement came a day after the Supreme Court's decision on the Panamagate case said it would constitute a Joint Investigation Team to probe the Sharif family's wealth.
What was initially hailed as a win by the PML-N later became an embarrassment for the party as its opposition touted the 2:3 split verdict — neither a clean chit, nor a disqualification — with a strongly-worded dissenting note by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa as an indication that the court had been unable to find Nawaz Sharif innocent.

Why taunt everyone, why talk about "if" just do it if you feel strongly about what you have and not worry about what "they'll' do. If the truth matters, then you do everything in your power to reveal it without worrying about it,otherwise, you are starting something you cannot finish, and that's not a sign of a good leader.

Is IK saying that he was given this offer of bribe to keep him quiet in Pamamagate? Is this logical that someone who is a sworn enemy and would have no consideration of confidentiality, would keep mum in the face of this daunting offer? Come on IK, it simply does not make any sense to us. Someone may have made an April fool with you but logically it does not make any sense here.

Imran: I would suggest that you take the 10 billion rupees and in return give Nawaz Sharif a donation receipt of rupees 10 billion from Shaukat Khanum hospital, and keep doing what you are doing. At least NS will be 10 billion poorer and hospital will be 10 billion richer which can go towards treating poor people.

Back fired-very awkward and embarrassing situation for Shahbaz Sharif who through official spokesman threatened Imran to personify the person who offered him 10 billion rupees in 3 days or else Shahbaz knocks to file a defamation case against Imran who now has very openly and loudly said that I will name the person in court. What does Shahbaz or for that matter his elder brother PM Nawaz can do against Imran is the most baffling question which at least I cannot answer but may be you have an answer. Time and again I have commented that PM Nawaz and CM Shahbaz are most of the time ditched alike by their Platos and Aristotles but both the brothers have not listened to me and are caught by collar. It is very high and ripe time to terminate present Platos & Aristotles and appoint new faces. Grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence. I don't think IK's party has any chance of winning the majority votes in the parliament. if he is elected, his popularity will fall like a stone from the sky in first few months. High hopes of people will vanish quickly. Is there anything he has done in his province which is praiseworthy or economic condition of the people in the province better than other provinces.The answer is not at all.He has no chance to win any seats in Sindh or Baluchistan. Few seats in Punjab are not going to put him on the top. Empty slogans are not going to accomplish anything, people want real changes and better economic conditions which he can't deliver.

All the claim of IK proved false in the past like 35 punctured etc, we do not have trust on IK statement because he is master of U-Turn. Secondly he gives lecture to others but in case of KP his performance is zero and corruption is rampant in all the departments like C&W, Irrigation, Public Health engineering, TMA etc where commission culture still persists and KP Ehtisab commission is taking its last breath. If you compare federal government projects with provincial government projects, former projects are more standard and durable while latter projects are of sub-standard which also reflect corruption in KP. Although NS has done some wrong-doing in the past but at present we have not witnessed single corruption scandal in the present tenure of federal government, price are also stable and economic consolidation also took place. Let the people decide in the coming election, however federal government is very much better than KP, provincial government .

Corruption is no doubt biggest problem but in a country where eighty percent people are involved in direct or indirect misdeeds amounting t o corruption all the time talking of corruption election can not be won. Hundred thousand middle class who attend Imran Khan meetings do not represent most of the voters. Khan has to exhibit his visible achievements in KPK and give his detailed programme for industrial and agriculture revolution and provide Clean water, Roti Kapra Makan to masses.

He delivered one of his best speech last night, concentrated on the importance of high Character of a Leader and that's what makes him different from others. Remember that IK is a leader, he is not an ordinary politician! So sometimes he talks controversial and people think he is immature politician..no he is not. He is doing politics of issues affecting the people of Pakistan. He is fearless because he is nothing to lose. He has already got everything in his life so he is playing with straight bat and hitting hard.

@Mike London only "this guy" IK was able to fight against corruptio and bring the PM to get declared by the SC 2 senior judges neither 'Sadiq' nor 'Ameen' and the Other 3 Judges want want further investigation about his corruption which is much more important and bigger than whether he gets elected or not.

As an ordinary citizen, how is Rs 75,000 as annual income tax is justified by IK given his life style unless income outside his tax system.????? is there.
