Dwayne Johnson dresses as Pikachu

Dads can go to ridiculous lengths to make their kids smile. And an adorable gesture from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to make his one-year-old daughter Jasmine happy went hilariously wrong.

The wrestler-turned-actor dressed up as his baby girl’s favourite Pokémon, Pikachu, to pay her a special Easter visit. What was meant to be a quick visit from the character turned into a bit of a marathon, as The Rock was forced to chase his little one around the house in the (very hot) costume.

In the funny clip, The Rock chases down his daughter before pausing to look into the camera and removing his cartoon head to say: “This is crazy”.

“For Easter Sunday, Lauren Hashian and I thought, Pikachu should make a special visit once again. Well, Pikachu didn’t account for the fact that now Jazzy runs and for two hours straight she wants to play her new favourite game, ‘I run away and you chase me Pikachu. And you’re not allowed to take a break until I go night night’.”

Robert Pattinson says a Twilight reboot could be ‘fun’

The 30-year-old English actor said in an interview that he’d be open to reprising Edward Cullen in a new Twilight film if the movie was ‘radical’ and ‘subverted’ expectations.

“I mean, I’m always kind of curious,” Pattinson admitted. “Anything where there’s a mass audience — or seemingly an audience for it — I always like the idea of subverting people’s expectations.”

Pattinson played Edward in Twilight (2008) and its four sequels, which earned over $3.3 billion at the box office. The Twilight films, which co-starred Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, were based on the Stephanie Meyer book series of the same name.
