Maths made easy

This is with reference to the cover story “Maths made easy” by Ambreen Kashif (YW, March 11).

The topic of the article was great but only if it had something new in it apart from suggesting the same tips over and over again.

I look forward to articles that provide us with something new and unique.

Young World

Young World is doing a great job for children who love to read. It also gives a chance to every child who loves to write or draw by publishing his/her contribution. It encourages children to showcase their hidden talent to the world.

Therefore, it is my request to the YW team to select the best poem or drawing of the week and award the contributors by giving positions. I hope it will encourage children to work hard and compete.

Word of the week

This is regarding the “Word of the week”. I love this section because it enhances our vocabulary, and I would like to request the YW team to give more space to this section and include more words so that we can learn more words and use them accordingly.

School’s responsibility

Teachers are not only responsible for teaching students a particular subject, but they are also responsible for teaching children the core values of human behaviour.

I’m thankful to my school which also gives importance to students’ behaviour, besides studies.

Usually, people give more importance to studies than a child’s behaviour or manners. We see a lot of children who are educated but have no manners. Not only parents are to be blamed for this but teachers too need to play their part in shaping the personality of a child.

I find myself very lucky to have teachers who just don’t educate me but also make me aware of social problems and their solutions, about self-respect, grooming, courtesy, etc.

To eat or not to eat

This is regarding the article “To eat or not to eat” by Eesha Tir Raaziah (YW, March 25). It was a wonderful article.

The writer chose a nice topic which captured my attention. It contained a really important message for all junk food lovers. It is really essential for everyone to take care of their health and not indulge in eating junk food.

Spotlight

Young World is my favourite magazine. All the sections in the magazine are fabulous but my favourite is “Spotlight”, where I get to read entertainment news.

As I am a big fan of Harry Styles (from One D), I want this section to have more news about all the budding and top pop stars, singers and

actors from Hollywood, especially Harry Styles, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber and Zayn Malik.
