KARACHI: The newly raised Karachi Academy outplayed visiting Hyderabad 4-0 in an exhibition women’s hockey match held to commemorate international Labour Day at the Customs Sports Complex on Monday.

Inside left Momal, inside right Tehmina, right winger Fozia and speahhead Mehreen scored one goal apiece for local team.

Dr Hanif Saeed, who graced the occasion, distributed the prizes among the two teams.

Speaking on the occasin he announced to donate track suits, hockey sticks etc to the local women’s hockey team.

The Karachi Hockey Association (KHA) women’s wing president Asma Shah and secretary Shaheen Fatima were also present on the occasion.
