QUETTA: Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah on Saturday visited those injured in Afghan firing on villages along the Chaman border at Combined Military Hospital Quetta to express solidarity with them and their families.

Expressing grief and sympathy on the incident, the naval chief condemned the shelling on innocent and defenceless civilians.

He said that in this hour of tragedy, the officers, men and civilians of Pakistan Navy stood firm with the nation and law enforcement agencies, particularly the grieving families.

Admiral Zakaullah paid tribute to Sepoy Hassan Ali who lost his life in the incident.
