QUETTA: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa visited military installations at the Quetta garrison on Thursday.

During the visit, the COAS interacted with young officers undergoing courses at the School of Infantry and Tactics and delivered an annual address to students of Command and Staff College.

Gen Bajwa then went to the Combined Military Hospital and inquired about the health of the personnel injured in recent clashes with the Afghan forces at the Chaman border.

Earlier on arrival, he was received by Commander Southern Command Lt Gen Aamir Riaz. Inspector General Training and Evaluation Lt Gen Hidayatur Rehman was present on the occasion.
