QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has announced setting up of two Joint Investigation Teams (JITs) to probe the Mastung and Gwadar incidents.

The chief minister, who returned to the provincial capital after his visit to China, immediately went to the hospital to inquire after the health of Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri on Tuesday. The Maulana had received injuries in the Mastung suicide attack.

Talking to Maulana Haideri, Nawab Zehri said the government would soon reach the planners of these terrorist incidents and would take these elements to task. He said that Taliban and separatists were miscreants and terrorists whose hands were tainted with the blood of innocent people. He vowed to chase them to a bitter end.

He said that he wanted to make it clear that the government has not closed its eyes, adding that terrorists would be given a tough time as ever. He said if they thought they could get away with attacking innocent people, ulema and poor masses, they were seriously mistaken. He said that they would not be forgiven.

On the occasion, both leaders agreed that the enemy was trying to sabotage CPEC, adding that the nefarious enemy designs would be foiled by showing unity and national integration.
