DERA MURAD JAMALI: Two people were killed and four others injured when a car rammed into a Levies check-post in Bolan district on Friday.

Levies officials said the speedy car coming from Dera Allah Yar crashed into the post after the driver lost control of the vehicle near Haji Shahar, a small town in Bolan district.

“Two people sitting at the check-post died,” a Levies official said, adding four others were shifted to the District Hospital Dhadar for treatment of injuries.

The deceased were identified as Karim Nawaz and Sardar Khan and the injured as Muhammad Lukman, Allah Nawaz, Master Wali and Shafi Muhammad. One of seriously injured was shifted to CMH Sibi.

Levies registered a case against the driver and arrested him.
