PAF jet crashes while on routine training near Mianwali

A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jet crashed near Mianwali while on routine operational training on Thursday, a press release issued by PAF said.
"PAF reports with regret that a PAF F-7PG aircraft, while on a routine operational training mission, crashed near Mianwali. The pilot of the aircraft ejected safely," the statement read.
No loss of life and property was reported in the crash, the PAF said.
A board of inquiry has been ordered to determine the cause of the accident.
F-7PGs were first inducted in the PAF in 2002 as a replacement for F-6, which were then de-commissioned. The trainer FT-7PGs came later.
The PAF had previously operated F-7Ps.
About eight or nine F-7PGs/FT-7PGs have been lost during the 15 years in service. The PAF has more than 50 of the Chinese-made aircraft in its fleet.
The losses of F-7PGs/FT-7PGs in air crashes are within limit, aviation experts say.

Please replace these old Jets with New modern and reliable Jets because a PAF's pilot life is very very precious. So many crashes in so little time clearly show that there is something seriously wrong . Thanks

lately too many PAF jets have been crashing . I think this is the third one in less than a year . Chinese technology is not reliable . I hope the PAF is not being filled with political jiyalas of PML and PPP . If it is than we are toast .

The number of crashes is within limits of military aviation record worldwide. No doubt things can be improved but old machines continue to run well if maintained well. Pakistan Air Force has a very good maintenance record as long as spares are available. Neighboring Iran is still running old 70's phantom and F5 jets in their air force with good maintenance and service.

"The losses of F-7PGs/FT-7PGs in air crashes are within limit, aviation experts say." We will find this line at the end of all crash reports of F-7PGs. Such a shame. We have already lost flying aces like Marium Mukhtar (one of less than 10 women fighter pilots we have) and Omer Shehzad(Sword of Honor) to these Chinese killing machines. Shear luck meant no loss of life this time around. However, how many more to die till we ground these or atleast publish the inquiry. I hope I am not imprisoned after these comments.
