In pictures: Pakistan beat front-runners India to clinch Champions Trophy title
Pakistan steal the Champions Trophy from title-holders India.
Pakistan thrashed India by 180 runs in a thrilling competition at London's Oval ground on June 18 to steal the Champions Trophy from the title holders.
The win gives Pakistan a full trophy cabinet, as the green shirts have now won the ODI World Cup, the T20 World Cup and the Champions Trophy.
While Fakhar Zaman claimed a century for Pakistan and was awarded Player of the Match, Muhammad Amir, Junaid Khan and Hasan Ali annihilated India's batting order.

ICC can take India only all the way to Final by placing them in the easy group and easy draw to garner more viewership and cash but cannot gurantee a championship. India has to play on their own even if they get to manage favorable decisions by the umpires!

@nADEEM WINNING comment sir!
These are the kind of people who blame everyone but themselves for things not working out for them. No hope for them.
Back to the game - great win for the Boys in Green. What's best about this win, a lot of youngsters actively played a role. Imagine how dominating this team can be in a couple of years if they work hard and keep their heads on straight! PCB - please don't mess this up.

One thing about Indians, they have come of age! This is perhaps the first time that Indians dont feel upset about the loss and are ready to acknowledge that it was a bad day at office and Pakistan had a extraordinary day. Indian teams capability is realized by everyone... and not just on paper, they are truly champions.

No.. 8th team beats all the higher ranked teams on way to lift the trophy. So stats and predictions dont matter. I hope this brings about a change in the cricketing environment in the country that has faced quite a few challenges in the recent past, like no home series etc., Hope quality of cricket triumphs over everything else. @Ali Shadab Khan's only mistake was he consistently tried to attack the batsman by pitching the ball inside the line of the stumps.
Hardik Pandya is a mighty hitter with excllent footwork convetted Shadab's deliveries into half volleys and lifted them outside the boundary line.

Congrats on a well deserved victory. As an Indian, the loss in the finals hurts, but we have always been a fan of Pakistani cricket too. I was personally sad that Amir made such a poor choice at the start of his career and the world was deprived of some quality bowling show. But it is heartening to see his quality comeback. We have been a fan of Amir's bowling we want him to do well. Hasan is shaping up well too and PAkistani bowling is in right hands with these two. Concentrate on your bowling and keep doing well. Junaid's not bad either. Whew. What a performance. Respect from India.
