KARACHI: Boxers from Zahid Shaheed Boxing Club scoo­ped up seven golds to win the Sindh Sports Board (SSB) Ram­azan Boxing contests which concluded the other day in Lyari.

Pugilists belonging to Young Lyari Boxing Club picked up three gold medals to finish runners-up.

Former minister and MPA from Lyari, Jawaid Nagori, who graced the finals, gave away the prizes. The winners fetched Rs2,000 while the runners-up got Rs1,000.

36 kg: Gul Fraz bt Sikander 2-1

38 kg: Wajid bt Muneeb 3-0

40 kg: Kashif Khan bt Rizwan 2-1

42 kg: Munir Kacchi bt Nabeel 3-0

44 kg: Najat bt Munawwar 2-1

46 kg: Hasan bt Abdul Rehman 3-0

48 kg: Jamil Kacchi bt Arsalan 2-1

50 kg: Niaz Ahmed bt Siraj 2-1

52 kg: Mohammad Jawwad bt Zohaib 2-1

54 kg: Yasir bt Azher 2-1.
