KARACHI: The trio of Asjad Iqbal, Babar Masih and Mohammad Bilal stormed into the knockout pre-quarterfinals of the Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports (ACBS) 6-Reds Snooker Championship at Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on Friday.

The fate of national champion Mohammad Sajjad will be decided after his last group match slated against Kanibek Sagynbaev of Kyrgyzstan on Saturday, according to information reaching here.

Asjad is the only Pakistani cueist who remained undefeated, winning all his four groups matches. Babar had won three and lost one while former national champion Bilal conjured up victories in two matches besides losing one. His group comprised four players.

Sajjad, meanwhile, has failed to find his touch losing two matches and winning one played so far.
