LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has alleged that the JIT probing the Panama case is a fixed match and certain elements are playing the role of a watchdog.
At a function held on Friday in memory of Model Town victims, he reiterated his allegation that a strategy was being devised in the JIT for the ruling PML-N for next general elections.
He claimed he knew justice would not be done to the Model Town victims but he would continue his struggle till his last breath and that the party would not allow the killers to “become another Raymond Davis”.
The ceremony was also addressed by PPP’s Qamar Zaman Kaira, PTI’s Mahmoodur Rasheed, Ijaz Chaudhry and Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan.

If the police or government is responsible for the model town incident, Mr Qadri you are equally responsible for this tragic incident, who was inciting the protesters to be head on collusion with law enforcers, who fired the first bullet causing injury of policeman, you were doing all this mayhem on the script of some hidden bosses to topple the legitimate government later you and your bosses failed in their plot and you had taken refuge in clean and cosy environments of Canada . Where are your graves and where are the white shrouds (KAFAN) which you were wearing and vowed to be there until you topple the government.

Not only the MT JIT, the one now in news is also a fixed match. Split decision is very common in Boxing. The result is announced immediately at the end of final round. Our timid SC , instead of giving a decision , prolonged the bout and formed JIT. The result is before the nation. So much confusion and lengthy procedures. Yes. It is apparently a fixed match.

Though I don't like this guy but I somehow believe in what he is saying about JIT and 100% agree on model town incident.
JIT is giving an impression that it is doing strict investigation. At the end if they would give sharifs clean chit, that would be a huge advantage for sharifs and ultimately for PML N in next election and will devastate PTI reputation as IK is the one who is the most vocal person on this issue and showed full confidence in JIT members. I hope that doesn't happen.
Secondly the model town incident was one of the most brutal state force unleashed on protestors. Not 1 or 2 or 4. Fourteen people died including women and nobody penalized.

JIT isn't probing model town case. However all parties should give them a chance before passing verdict on them. Let this case finish, and then we can talk about other cases.

What was the reason behind Model Town incident? Obviously when hooligans refused to listen the the police warnings, there was a tolerance before the threat of firing had to be implemented. Otherwise, it is a simple revolt against the writ of the ruling Government.
