And just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up and takes centre stage. Get ready to dive to all-new depths of theatrical innovation at SpongeBob SquarePants, where the power of optimism really can save the world!” a synopsis states on the production’s website.

Fantastic Beasts casting begins

Warner Bros and the filmmakers behind the Fantastic Beasts sequel are looking for five young people to step up and play the roles of teenage versions of some of the characters.

Two young people between the ages of 16-18 are needed to play a teenage Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald, while three youngsters between the ages 13-16 are needed for the roles of Newt Scamander, Leta Lestrange and a character called Sebastian.

This news comes just after it was announced that Jude Law had been cast to play the younger incarnation of Dumbledore in the sequel, joining British actor Callum Turner who will star as Newt Scamander’s brother, with filming set to take place in Paris.

JK recently confirmed that the script for the movie is officially finished, so the excitement is definitely real. Filming is set to start this summer.
