LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that those demanding the joint investigation team (JIT) proceedings be made public have not released the Justice Baqar Najafi Commission report for three years.

In a statement on Sunday, Dr Qadri said the Sharif brothers got a clean chit from a police probe team that did not record statements of families of the victims. He demanded the Najafi report and recording of those who ordered shooting at Minhajul Quran be made public.

He also claimed that the PAT had submitted the recording to an anti-terrorism court, which was undeniable proof.

The PAT chief asked that if law was supreme in the country why no action was being taken against the Sharif brothers over the Model Town killings.
