The Shia Imami Ismaili community will be celebrating Diamond Jubilee of Imamat of Prince Karim Aga Khan on July 11.

He is the founder of the Aga Khan Development Network and a global philanthropist, whose keen concern is to eliminate global poverty and to promote peace, pluralism and diversity across the globe. He has deep sentimental connections with Pakistan, as his grandfather, Sir Sultan Muhammed Shah, Aga Khan III, played an important role in the establishment of Pakistan. On several occasions the services of Prince Karim for the socio-economic uplift of Pakistanis are lauded by the Pakistani government.

He has devoted his life to the welfare of his community. To improve their quality of life, he initiated several health and educational projects such as Aga Khan University Hospitals and Aga Khan Academies. The people of Pakistan wish him and his community all the best on the commemoration of his diamond jubilee.
