CHAKWAL: Four people were shot dead while a young woman sustained bullet injuries in three incidents, police sources said on Saturday.

First incident occurred in Chinji village of tehsil Talagang where a gunfight over a land dispute claimed three lives.

In another incident, Chamman Abbas, a vendor who used to sell chickens was shot dead at a filling station where he was refilling fuel to his motorbike.

A young woman received two bullet injuries when she was shot at by an attacker. The woman was shifted to district headquarters hospital from where she was referred to Benazir Bhutto Hospital where her condition was stated to be out of danger.

Police have registered separate murder cases.
