SAHIWAL: Harrapa police on Sunday evening arrested four ‘faith healers’ at Baba Mamhood Langha shrine, Dadou.

Police said Baba Ghulam Ali, Maulvi Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Iqbal and Pir Muhammad Farooq were allegedly involved in giving bath to women at different graveyards of surrounding localities to cure infertility.

Harrapa Station House Officer Javed Khan said the suspects were booked under sections 420, 419, 354, 379, 997 and 509 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

He said Farhat Imran, a resident of village 556/GB, Mamun Kanjan, informed the police about the ritual.

The SHO said four assistants of the suspects managed their escape.
