LAHORE: The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Monday announced the names of the position holders in annual matriculation examination.

Umer Tariq of the Teach A Child High School for Boys, Johar Town, got overall first position in both science and humanities groups by bagging 1,087 marks.

Sobhan Khalid of Muslim Public Model High School for Boys, Sheikhupura, and Aleesa Kaleem of Educators Girls High School, Shahdara, shared the second position with 1,086 marks each and Muhammad Abdullah of Unique High School, Muslim Town, and Muhammad Abdullah Saleem of the Government Central Model High School, Lower Mall, shared the third position with 1,085 marks.

Umer Tariq, Sobhan Khalid, Aleesha Kaleem, Muhammad Abdullah and Muhammad Abdullah Saleem are from the science group and they also topped that group as well.

In science group among the girls, Zunaira Khan of Allama Iqbal Public High School for Girls, Raiwind Road, Afaf Rehan of Crescent Model High School for Girls, Shadman, and Maria Zafar of Educators High School for Girls, Kasur, shared the second position with 1,083 marks each. Misbah Nasir of the Educators High School for Girls, Kasur, Laraib Anmol of the Al-Noorians High School for Girls, Shadbagh, Farwa of Beaconhouse Girls High School, Liberty, Hafiza Khateeja of the Govt High School for Girls Santnagar, Fatima Awais of Unique High School for Girls, Muslim Town, and Adeen Imtiaz of the Government Girls High School, Kot Radha Kishan, shared the third position with 1,082 marks.

In humanities group among boys and girls, Habiba Bahjat of Qurban Girls High School, Walton Road, got the first position with 1,055 marks, Ayesha of Iqbal Public High School, Raiwind, got the second position with 1,052 marks and Fariha Haq of Pak Standard Girls High School, Shadbagh, got the third position with 1,041 marks.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Muhammad Amir of Rashid Minhas Higher Secondary School, Muzaffargarh, stood first with 1,089 marks, Afra Ahmed of Friends Public Secondary School, Taunsa Sharif, remained second with 1,088 marks while the third position was shared by four students –Ayesha Batool of Kauray Khan Public Girls Secondary School Muzaffargarh, Valija Bilal of Vision School, Layyah, Hadiya Bashir of Friends Public Girls Secondary School, Taunsa Sharif, and Mavra Zahid of New Vision Girls High School, Choti Zaireen, Dera Ghazi Khan, with 1,087 marks each.

SAHIWAL: The first and second positions in BISE matriculation exam were captured by Minhal Iqbal of the Educators Girls School, Depalpur, and Afshan Akram of the District Public Girls High School, Depalpur, with 1,083 and 1,082 marks, respectively. The third position was shared by three girls, Arooba Tahoor of DPS for Girls, Okara, Shahana of Al–Farid Girls School System, Pakpattan, and Sewera Aslam of Ali City High School (for Girls), Pakpattan, with 1,081 marks each.

In the humanities group both girls and boys, Muhammad Arsalan (Pakpattan), secured first position with 1,035 marks, Saira Mahmood got second with 1,012 marks while Hifza Mukhtar remained third with 1,009 marks.

BAHAWALPUR: In the Bahawalpur BISE, Maryam Abid Jabbar of Sir Syed Public Higher Secondary Girls School, Hasilpur, Rahema Mazhar of Fauji Foundation Model Girls School, Bahawalnagar, and Muhammad Umar of Jinnah City Higher Secondary School, Hasilpur, shared the first position by securing 1,081 marks each.

The second position was shared by three girls, Fatin Khan Lodhi of Sadiq Public Girls Higher Secondary School, Bahawalpur, Hamsa Fatima of National Garrison Girls Secondary School, Rahim Yar Khan, and Fizzah Fatimah of Fauji Fertilizer Girls Model School, Goth Machi, Sadiqabad, with 1,079 marks each.

The third position was shared by two girls, Mehtab Afzal of Sir Syed Public girls Higher Secondary School, Chishtian, and Aamina Asif of Beaconhouse School, Sadiqabad, with 1078 marks each.

FAISALABAD: Maira Younis of the Laboratory Girls High School, University of Agriculture, and Maryam Zahra of Chenab Girls College, Jhang, shared the first position with 1,090 marks each.

Rikza Saeed of the Chenab Girls College, Jhang stood second with 1,087 marks while three students, Mariam Ashraf of City Girls High School,72-A, Peoples Colony No.1, Faisalabad, Zohaib Ahmed Qureshi and Saad Amjad of the DPS, Faisalabad, shared the third position with 1,085 marks.

GUJRANWALA: In science group, Muhammad Faizan of Science Locus High School stood first with 1,079 marks, Rao Obaidur Rehman of Jadid Dastagir Ideal Boys High School and Hafza Umiza Ahsan of Sialkot Grammar Girls High School Bhopalwala, Sialkot, shared the second position with 1,078 marks while Mahrukh of the Best School System, Satellite Town, and Aswa Arshad of Jadid Dastagir Ideal Girls High School shared the third position with 1,077 marks.

In humanities group, Naleem Shahzadi of Govt High School No 2, Kamoki, obtained 1,046 marks and got overall first position, Sidra Bano remained second with 1,043 marks while Umama Naeem stood third with 1,041 marks.

SARGODHA: The first position was shared by Sadaf Safdar of Agalate Girls Secondary School, Bhakkar, Zainab Iftikhar of KCP Model School Girot, Khushab, Aqsa Ramy of Sanai Academy, Sargodha, with 1,083 marks each.

Irtaza Azhar of Sanai Academy Sargodha stood second with 1,082 marks while third position was shared by Abdul Basit of Govt High School Nautak, Bhakkar, and Manal Shaukat of Presentation Convent School, Sargodha, with 1,081 marks .

Overall top three positions in humanities group were secured by girls.

Azza Malik of Sanai Academy, Sargodha, stood first with 1,065 marks, Mahnoor Fatima of Punjab Public School New Satellite Town, Sargodha, stood second with 1,062 marks and Komal of Sanai Academy Sargodha stood third with 1,052 marks.

MULTAN: Wajeeha Younas of Muslim Public Higher Secondary School, Peoples Colony, Mumtazabad, bagged first position with 1,091 marks. Kashful Iman of Zamir Public Girls High School, Multan, and Muhammad Fahad Nadeem of Muslim Public Higher Secondary School, Peoples Colony, Mumtazabad, shared second position with 1,089 marks while Fatima Munir of Beaconhouse Public School for Girls, Multan, won the third position with 1,088 marks.

In arts group, overall top three positions were secured by Hafsa Ramzan of A-One Shaheen Model School, Lutfabad, a private student Syeda Alisha Ali and Rija Nadeem of Govt Girls High School, Kabootar Mandi, with 1,053, 1,049 and 1,038 marks, respectively.
