MURREE: Two people died when a Suzuki van hit a dumper from the rear on Murree Expressway at Salkhaiter Newr Toll Plaza.

Murad Ali Shah of Ausia Village and Muhammad Rafiq of Ghorra Gali died, Rescue 1122 sources confirmed. Another three including Imtiaz Abbasi, Ijaz Abbasi and Kamran Abasi were injured.

Police suspected that the accident took place due to break failure or the driver went to sleep and could not control the vehicle and hit the truck from behind.

A good number of police mobiles are deployed on the Expressway for the checking of irregularities and implementation of traffic rules but a number of accidents take place and a number of precious lives lost in such accidents.
