MQM leadership, led by Dr Farooq Sattar, informed the PML-N team that the party’s decision to extend its support to PML-N candidate or otherwise would be conveyed to the PML-N after a meeting of the MQM-P’s coordination committee.

The PML-N team comprised Abdul Qadir Baloch, Shaikh Muhammad Aftab, Babu Sarfraz Jatoi and Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair. National Party President Mir Hasil Khan Blaoch was also with the PML-N team.

The MQM leaders who took part in the meeting included Dr Farooq Sattar, Aamir Khan and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.

The PML-N team communicated the message of harmony from former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and requested the MQM-P to support Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

Farooq Sattar informed the PML-N team about targeted killings of MQM-P workers and issues being faced by the people of the province.
