SHANGLA: Chairman Standing Committee on Home and Tribal Affairs MPA Mohammad Rashad Khan has called for applying constitution’s articles 62 and 63 on PTI chief Imran Khan and his associates for being not ‘Sadiq and Amen’ (truthful and honest).

He made the demand while addressing a public meeting at Damorai area on Tuesday. PM-N district general secretary Bakht Alam Khan, tehsil councillor Javed Khan and others spoke on the occasion.

“If the courts didn’t disqualify Imran Khan under article 62 and 63 then he would approach the Superior Court against him. The articles could apply on Imran Khan and other members of his party,” the PML-N lawmaker observed.

He was of the opinion that removal of the prime minister was aimed to push the country back into backwardness and stop development. However, the PML-N will not allow Imran Khan to create hurdles to the way of progress.

On the occasion, some locals announced joining the PML-N after quitting PTI.

Bakht Alam said Imran Khan had promoted dancing and singing culture, adding the PTI-coalition government did nothing for development of the province. He claimed that PML-N provincial president Amir Muqam would be the next chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
