HYDERABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) women leaders have denied allegations levelled against PTI chairman Imran Khan by former PTI lawmaker Ayesha Gulalai.

Speaking at a news conference held at the local press club on Wednesday, PTI leaders Anisa Waliullah and Shabana Nawab said that Ayesha Gulalai had been given a reserved seat of the National Assembly in 2013 and recently she demanded NA-1 ticket, which the PTI chairman refused because of her ‘poor performance’ in the assembly.

They claimed that she had been carrying out some ‘objectionable activities’ in the PTI and several complaints were made against her due to violation of party discipline at the party forum in the past.

They said that Ms Gulalai was also part of PML-Q and PPP in the past.

They said that it was shameful that she levelled such allegations against the chairman and hurt women of PTI to a great extent through her ‘baseless’ allegations.

They asked her to provide proof and evidences of her allegations immediately.
