PESHAWAR: Peshawar Whites edged Charsadda 2-1 in a thrilling encounter of the ongoing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inter-District Football Championship being played here at Sumbal Khan Football ground Qayyum Sports Complex on Friday.

Charsadda took lead in the 13th minute when Javed Khan slammed in a beautiful goal, going past three defenders before unleashing an unstoppable left-foot shot giving the goalie no chance.

Peshawar Whites came back in the second half and Taimur levelled matters in the 54th with a fine team goal before he netted again to give his side the win.
