JHANG: Four people, including a man and his two sons, drowned while fishing in the Jhelum near Ghaziabad on Khushab Road on Tuesday.

According to Rescue 1122 media coordinator Rana Allah Bakhsh, Pervaiz Khan (50), his sons Adil Khan (25), Kamran Khan (12) along with their relative Jahanzab (13), residents of Chak 284 of Toba Tek Singh, went to the river bank at Mauza Ghaziabad for fishing. Suddenly, they fell into the river and drowned.

Rescuers recovered the body of Pervaiz Khan. The operation for the recovery of other three bodies was under way.
