Benazir case

AFTER trial for about 10 years, the court has decided the Benazir Bhutto Shahadat case: culprits not found guilty and only two police officers were punished for dereliction of duty. The PPP leadership has not accepted the decision.

It was hoped the PPP leadership will explain its failure to identify the actual planners, facilitators and executioners of this heinous crime during its five-year rule in Islamabad, and what its role and interest in the 10 years of trial were.
