LAHORE: The World XI players, set to arrive in Lahore for the Independence Cup T20 series next week, will be holding a short one-day training camp in Dubai on Sunday. Pakistan players are already going through training at a camp set up in Lahore from Thursday.
All the fourteen members of the World XI will gather in Dubai on Saturday and will go through training on Sunday. The World XI is to arrive at the Lahore airport in the small hours of Monday (Sept 11) to play the first match on Tuesday.
During the training camp in Dubai the World XI coach and former Zimbabwe captain Andy Flower, along with key member of the team Darren Sammy, will be available for media talk. Later on, two other key members of the World XI — Hashim Amla of South Africa and Grant Elliott of New Zealand — will be available for talk with the media.
