LAHORE: The PPP will take out a torch-bearing rally on The Mall on Saturday (today) to boost up campaign for its candidate to NA-120 Faisal Mir.

The decision was taken at a meeting held at the PPP election office at Regal Chowk on Friday.

The torch-bearing PPP activists will march from Regal Chowk to Faisal Square and PPP Central Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira will lead it.

Meanwhile, speaking at the meeting, Mr Kaira said the PPP was regaining its ground in Punjab particularly in Lahore. It actually still retained its vote bank. He said the angry activists were the actual soul of the party.

“We will visit every family in NA-120 to seek their vote for Mr Mir,” he said.

He said the PPP rally would be massive and it would boost up the election campaign of Mr Mir.
