KARACHI: Karachi City Sports Association (KCSA) will organize the 4th Pizza Hut Karachi Games 2017 from Sept 15-17 in which as many as twenty seven disciplines for men and twenty three disciplines for women will be contested. These disciplines shall be held at twenty-three venues in the city.

This was announced by the organisers in a press conference held at the KW&SB Club here on Monday. Ghulam Mohammad, chairman organising committee, Aslam Khan, president, Khalid Rehmani, organising secretary and Marya Akhtar of Pizza Hut also addressed the media.

Aslam briefed the media about the games and emphasised the importance of keeping the city clean and green by planting the trees. “We have also planned a workshop on chess during the Games,” he said.

As many as 1258 players including 638 men, 486 women and 133 officials besides fifty athletes of Para Sports Pakistan shall be taking part in the Karachi Games. The opening ceremony shall be held at PSB National Coaching Center on Friday Sept 15.

Also present on the occasion were Waseem Hashmi, Adnan Kamal of ABL, Lubna of Essa Lab, Saif Abbas Director Sports KMC and others.
