SWABI: Four people, including a man and his son, were killed and two others injured in separate incidents here on Thursday.

Police said that Noor Jamil and his son Zareen Shah were on way to their home at Malikabad in Gadoon Amazai area when their motorcycle collided with another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. As a result, both Noor Jamil and his son were killed on the spot, while Faheem Khan and his companion suffered serious injuries. The injured were taken to the nearby hospital.

In Ismalia village, a body was found in the open fields. Later, the body was identified by the police as that of Abdul Jalil, who belonged to Baghicha Dheri in Mardan district. He was killed by unidentified assailants and later his body was thrown in the fields.The police said that the cause of the killing was not known.

In the same area, one Tariq Khan along with two other people allegedly opened fire on his wife inside the house of his father-in-law and killed her on the spot.

Registering the FIR, Farhan Ali, father of the deceased, alleged that Tariq, Ronaq Khan and Salman Khan had forced their way into their house and opened fire on his daughter.

The cause of the incident was stated to be domestic rivalry. The police registered an FIR and have started investigations.
