THE students enrolled in BS degree programmes in six government colleges affiliated with the Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, have been suffering from relentless traumatic educational ordeal.
The BS degree, which actually takes four years to complete, takes more than six years at these colleges, putting the career of the students at stake. Call it lethargy of the university administration or apathy of the faculties of the affiliated colleges, this delay is ruining the future of the students.
Despite this frustrating situation, the students are compelled to stay at the university as they have invested a lot in terms of time and effort.
The Punjab chief minister and authorities concerned should take action on this issue to save students’ career.
