SWABI, Aug 20: The Naib Nazim of Garmunara Union Council, who was the nominee of Awami National Party for the slot of Swabi tehsil Naib Nazim, was unseated through a no-confidence motion here on Wednesday.
It was the second removal through a no-confidence motion against the ANP supporters in a week.
Garmunara Union Council Naib Nazim Attiqur Rehman got only two votes, while his opponent, Malik Qamar Zaman, secured 10 votes in the no-trust move. Mr Zaman was declared the acting Naib Nazim of the union council.
