KOHAT: The security forces and police arrested two alleged forgers and an impersonator on an intelligence report here on Sunday.

A statement issued here from the office of district police officer said that following a tip-off a special team of cantonment police and security forces raided a photo studio where fake identity cards of the security forces and other departments and visa documents were found. The team arrested Saadat Khalil and Mohammad Mehmood on the spot.

It said that on their revelation their accomplice Mohammad Kamran was held with an official uniform of the Frontier Constabulary and government card. Computer and printing machine were impounded while the suspects were taken to an unknown place.

Meanwhile, the police arrested three drug sellers and recovered over six kilogrammes of hashish from their homes on Sunday.

The Junglekhel police also arrested an alleged robber, identified as Omair, who used to deprive people of cash and other belongings at gunpoint.

In a raid at the house of Hayat Khan, the police seized over three kilogrammes of hashish. In another such case, police raided a house in Tir Chapri area and held Shah Faisal allegedly with over three kilogrammes of hashish.

They were presented in the special Sunday court which granted their physical remand to the police for investigations.
