The former spokesperson of Balochistan government and central secretary information National Party (NP), Jan Buledi, narrowly escaped an attempt on his life as unidentified miscreants attacked his convoy in district Kech on Wednesday, said officials.

Levies officials told DawnNews that suspected miscreants opened indiscriminate fire at Buledi's vehicle, injuring Buledi's son and two security guards. The injured were rushed to Turbat, the district headquarter for medical treatment.

Jan Buledi was heading to Turbat from his hometown Buleda when his vehicle came under attack, a senior government official told DawnNews.
