LARKANA: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Larkana on Saturday announced the results of Secondary School Certificate Part-I (class IX) annual examination.

In science group out of 39,199 candidates who had appeared in the examination, 34,348 were declared pass in all five subjects while 2,292 in four subjects, 1,275 in three subjects, 215 in two subjects and 92 could clear only one subject.

The results of 865 candidates were withheld for using unfair means in exams.

In general group some 3,689 candidates had appeared and only 2,724 had passed all five subjects. Some 494 were declared pass in four subjects, 102 in three subjects, 41 in two subjects while 38 in only one subject.

The results of 345 candidates were withheld for cheating in the examinations.
