NAWABSHAH: ASI booked

NAWABSHAH, Aug 22: The Qazi Ahmad police on Thursday registered a case against an ASI for keeping three men in illegal detention.

The ASI booked was identified as Gul Mohammad Dahri.

On Wednesday, a team, appointed by the district and sessions judge of Nawabshaw on the complaint of Faqir Mohammad Mallah, raided the Qazi Ahmad police station and freed Allah Dino Mallah, Ali Bahar Lashari and Rasool Bux Bhatti, kept illegally at the quarter of the ASI.

The team directed the ASI to appear before the court but he did not turn up and the district and sessions judge ordered the police to arrest the ASI and register a case against him under section 342, PPC.— Correspondent
