Reckless driving

Every day, I notice many car drivers and bike riders driving carelessly. They habitually disobey traffic rules and exceed speed limits.

Apart from this, many underage youth drive a car or ride a bike, which is very dangerous.

So it is my humble request to the traffic police authorities and the government to start using devices to track the speed limit and also impose a hefty fine to counter such careless drivers and riders who risk not only their lives, but those of others too.

Respect everyone

We should not make fun of people. We should be kind. If someone is making fun of a person, we should tell them to stop. Is someone is hurting a person’s feelings, we should tell them kindly to please stop and not hurt their feelings.

We should respect everyone.

Don’t judge hastily

This is with reference to the story “Don’t judge hastily” by Nida Jamal (YW, September 30).

I read the story and realised that we are in the habit of judging people without giving a second thought, which is absolutely wrong.

We have no right to judge anyone for any reason. We don’t know what the story behind their attitude is.

We should have a positive attitude towards everything and everyone.

II

The story “Don’t judge hastily” By Nida Jamal gave a great message to the readers of YW.

The message was ‘to stop judging someone for their expressions and the way they look’. It is up to us to do as we please or change our habit of passing judgements on others.

Out of school children

Iwant to draw the attention of the readers to a very grave issue prevalent in our country. This is the age of technical development, a number of countries are advancing at a fast pace, but, unfortunately, due to various reasons our country is far behind other countries in the world. Recently, a local NGO’s report, Alf Allan, states that about 25 million children are out of school. This is very shocking and disappointing.

Therefore, I want to draw the attention of the government towards this serious issue so that they give priority to the education sector and start a campaign to enrol all the out of school children from each province of the country.
