Bil Batori

THE woman who made up childhood memories of the masses of Pakistan is no more with us. Nusrat Ara Begum, who was famously known as Bil Batori of PTV classic Ainak Wala Jin lived a miserable life.

In her last heart-breaking interview with PTV available on YouTube, she said the producers and directors who once made her famous, ruined her because she was uneducated and poor.

I am truly depressed after knowing that she lived the last few years of her life on food from Data Darbar. She was suffering from skin diseases and was also unable to pay utility bills. No one helped her.

Her interview has revealed the nature of our directors and producers. I request all of them not to do this again with anyone else.
