SUKKUR: United States Consul General in Karachi Grace Shelton arrived in Ghotki on Wednesday.

Ms Shelton said that she was visiting different areas of Sindh in cooperation with the provincial government to get firsthand information about the problems being faced by people.

She held a meeting with Deputy Commissioner Syed Aijaz Ali Shah in his office and thanked him for extending cooperation and providing details about the district.

She said that several projects sponsored by her country were under way in different areas of the province.

Later, Ms Shelton met representatives of non-governmental organisations and inquired about their problems.
