LAHORE: The so-called courage of Nawaz Sharif is sham otherwise he is sending messages for reconciliation and is even prepared to commit in writing that no member of his family will enter politics, says Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri.

Dr Qadri, who returned to Pakistan from abroad on Tuesday, said the army ensured restoration of peace through an agreement with the protesters for which it must be congratulated.

Speaking to the media, he alleged that the PML-N government wanted to further confuse the matter but could not succeed. He said a government, which can’t solve issues in parliament, can’t negotiate with its citizens by leaving cozy offices and has no right to humiliate Pakistan any more.

“It must dissolve assemblies and leave otherwise they will be kicked out.” He said no one would repeat the mistake of Pervez Musharraf and pardon them. “They attacked our faith on Khatm-i-Nabuwat and their resignation is demand of the entire nation,” he said.

He said “Tajdar-i-Khatm-i-Nabuwat Conference” would be held at Minar-i-Pakistan on Nov 30.

He said the downfall of the Sharif family had begun the day they targeted more than 100 innocent people in Model Town. He said judgment on Justice Baqar Najfi commission report is due and with the declassification of this report, the killers of Model Town incident will be unmasked. The PAT’s only demand is justice for victims of Model Town incident, he said.
