SARGODHA: Punjab Auqaf & Religious Affairs Minister Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri on Tuesday called on PML-N’s former senator Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi to drive home the party stance that it had no mala fide intention in the bill controversy.

MNA Hamid Hameed, Abdul Razzaq Dhilon, MPA Muhammad Waris Kallu and MPA Sahibzada Nizamuddin Sialvi were also present.

Pir Sialvi, the caretaker of Sial Sharif shrine, stuck to his demand that Rana Sanaullah must resign (for his recent controversial comments). Zaeem Qadri reportedly told him that Rana Sana would visit the shrine if he failed to convince the Pir of Sial Sharif of his innocence.

Hamid Hameed, Muhammad Waris Kallu and Abdul Razzaq Dhilon tendered their resignation to Pir Sialvi.

A few days earlier, MNA Dr Zulfikar Ali Bhatti, Chaudhry Hamid Hameed, Abdul Razaq, Rana Munawar Ghaus and Muhammad Waris Kallu along with Jhang parliamentarians including Ghulam Bibi Bharwana and Sheikh Muhammad Akram also presented their resignations to Pir Sialvi who had parted with the PML-N and declared that the present regime was anti-Islamic.

He had given ultimatum to the government to accept the demands of the Tehreek-i-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah by Nov 27. He had directed his 18 disciples in parliament to tender resignations.
