In pictures: Terror strikes Peshawar again

At least nine people were killed and 37 others injured as at least three terrorists attacked Peshawar's Agricultural Training Institute on Friday morning.
The terrorists stormed the ATI hostel, where around 150 people were present on the Eid Miladun Nabi holiday, firing indiscriminately, according to eyewitness accounts.
Three terrorists were neutralised in an operation conducted by security forces. The quick response by police, the army and Frontier Corps is believed to have restricted the damage that could have been done by the attackers.
The attack was claimed by the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan.

The police office in the second last picture is the CCPO Peshawar Tahir Khan. He along with SSP operations was on site in 3 minutes. They led the operation. The jawans of KPK police donated more blood in KTH and lady Reading hospital than they had bags for. Please do not forget their sacrifices today.

Its so sad where Pakistan is heading.
When you have leaders like Musharraf who expose the reality that Pakistan is supporting openly terrorists and extremists minded people, then is it any surprising what is happening across Pakistan.
Religious hatred ideology was used as seed to create Pakistan and it is subsuming itself in the fire whirlwind of hatred.

Timely action by the alert security forces saved many lives otherwise casualties would have been much higher. Pakistan needs to practice zero tolerance to all forms of terrorism. The country cannot eliminate internal terrorism until it discards the policy of good and bad terrorists. Pakistan is paying a very heavy price continuing this self-destructive policy namely deaths of innocent civilians and rise of fanaticism at home, spoiling of relations with neighbours and stoppage of much needed aid from the world bodies.

Till we keep entangling ourselves within favoured and unflavoured armed men, we are going to have such fate again and again. illegal arm brandishing, keeping firearms and above that use of these elements by political class and secret agencies will worsen the situation further.

Pakistan is a much peaceful place than PPPZ days will never forget those bad days. Thank you Gen Raheel for making Pakistan a safer place and eliminating terror, major work was done final patches will be placed.
Thank you to Police and Armed forces for quick reaction and action to eliminate the attacker. QRF was there within minutes of the first distress phone call.
