MANSEHRA: Mohammad Bilal and Mohammad Sadiq, who were among the martyrs in the Friday’s attack on the Agriculture Training Institute (ATI), Peshawar, were laid to rest in Oghi area of Mansehra and Dasu, Kohistan, on Saturday.
Mohammad Bilal was the student of third year. His body was taken to his native village on Friday after his family was summoned to Peshawar following the terrorist attack.
The other student, Sadiq, was also laid to rest in Dasu, the district headquarters of Upper Kohistan. His funeral was attended largely by people from various walks of life.
In Shangla, another victim of the Peshawar attack, Bilal Ahmed, was laid to rest in his native Khwar Kalay village in Lelonai area on Saturday. The victim aged 19.
“Bilal Ahmed was an obedient student, and after completing his higher secondary school certificate two years ago he went to Peshawar and got admission in the ATI for diploma in veterinary,” said Zahid Khan, Ahmed’s teacher.
In Timergara, a victim of the attack on ATI, Bilal, 19, was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in Teknai village of Adenzai on Friday night, residents said.
They said the funeral prayer of the deceased was led by his father, Khair-ul-Bashar. Hundreds of locals attended his last rituals.
Residents said Bilal had taken admission in the ATI two months ago.
