NOWSHERA: The Board of Intermediate and Secon-dary Education, Mardan, has carried out reforms to check the use of unfair means in examinations.

BISE Mardan chairman Dr Shaukat Hayat said this while addressing the annual function of a private institute here on Sunday. He said that they had also provided a toll-free number for seeking information and registration of complaints. He said that they had issued roll number cards to the students which would remain the same till their affiliation with the board.

The board chairman said that they had installed cameras in all the examination halls to check cheating in exams. He said that the deserving students would get positions through merit. He said that they had also increased the scholarship amount from Rs200 to Rs2,000 for the students.
