KOHAT: Chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Maulana Samiul Haq has said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman was a big hurdle to complete revival of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal as he had turned down his condition of leaving the government for the purpose.

He alleged that the JUI-F chief had supported the PML-N government in changing the Khatm-i-Nabuwwat clause as he was so intoxicated by sharing power with every ruler. However, he said that the only way of bringing real Islamic system in the country was unity among all the religious parties.

Samiul Haq categorically said that he was a supporter of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government because PTI chairman Imran Khan was a true Muslim and enforcing his manifesto of bringing a real change in the country of which Shariah was the foremost priority.
