HYDERABAD: A group of activists of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) held a protest demonstration on Friday against the party’s district leaders, accusing them of taking their ‘favourites’ instead of senior activists to Larkana to attend the 10 death anniversary of the party’s slain chairperson Benazir Bhutto.

Senior PPP activists Rehan Qureshi, Nasir Ali Kazi, Rana Fahad and Zakir Qadri, who led the protest outside local press club, complained that the party leaders ignored them and treated them with arrogance.

They said that in the latest snub to senior activists Hyderabad district leadership took only their favourites to Larkana, and demanded the party high command remove Hyderabad district president Sagheer Qureshi, general secretary Ali Mohammad Sehto, Ahsan Abro and others.
